Rancang Bangun Kontrol Pengolahan Gula Aren Dengan Programmable Logic Controller

Gula aren diperoleh dari nira hasil sadapan pohon dan merupakan salah satu bahan baku pembuatan makanan maupun minuman. Pembuatan gula yang ada di Desa Tanggari Minahasa Utara Sulawesi menggunakan bakuair (saguer), akan tetapi pada proses masih tradisional dengan sepenuhnya tenaga manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat prototype alat pengolah kontrol Programable Logic Controler (PLC) monitoring Human Machine Interface (HMI), dilengkapi sensor thermostat sebagai pengukur temperatur saat pemasakan air gas LPG motor wiper penggerak pengaduk. Hasil pengujian dilakukan 3 liter suhu ± 100 0C 750 gram. Dengan PLC HMI diharapkan dapat meringankan pekerja mempercepat pengadukan sampai mengental sehingga akhirnya meningkatkan efisiensi produksi.Palm sugar is obtained from the sap of palm tree tapping and one raw materials for making food drinks.
